We meet again old chum :)
As im laying here thinking about when I should go to bed I happened to come across "ET" while normally I would just happily flip the channel to something more horrid the piece about Constantine Caught mine eye and my senses surrendered.
Luckily I also got to see a snapshot view if you will of the new hitch hikers guide to the galaxy movie.
Its apparently coming out in April.
I dont know if it will be as great as the book is though...
For one thing I pictured Marvin the depressed robot to look more like Bender from futurama and also when did (if ever ) did they mention in the book that Ford Prefect was black? Im not playing the race card or anything ..I didnt figure he was white either...I actually figured he'd be purple or something (as some aliens are prone to be).
It's going to be interesting if in fact we do see Arthur at the floating party try to break up Trillians date with Thor god of thunder though...
Hopefully it will just be one long movie rather than something they drag out for 5 years as they go through each book..Oh well ..here's hoping that hollywood doesnt dissapoint us fans that have actually read and loved the hitch hiker guide to the galaxy books..
AFterall if its anything that Douglas Adams ever taught us its that the trick to flying is to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
