Random Pile 'O Shtuff

Well, not too awful much goin' on my way. I got to take a test drive in my car, and I didn't do too bad according to Mom. I stayed within six feet of where I'd first made tire tracks, anyway. :D Not to mention I didn't run over any unsuspecting deer, muskrats, or what have you's. Learned I can break well and use the turn signal. ;)

Found out little cousin Termite (aka Johnathon) has strep throat. Just hopin' that I ain't got it, or won't get it. My luck, although I'd most likely get time off work if need be, but truth be told, I need to work. I'll soon have insurance and gas to pay for in my car...

Some relatives are starting to come in tomorrow (today), so I decided to do some house-cleaning on the outside a Gramma's. Cleaned off the back poorch, which mainly had papers and toys piled up in weird places. Then, I scrubbed down the upholstered deck furniture on the front poorch (got carpet burn on my two middle right hand fingers, too, very red, shiny, and painful), not to mention actually *moving* everything off of the poorch and scrubbing it down with hot, soapy water and an old broom (with some help from my brother) and spraying it clean with the garden hose. Then I washed my car. So yeah, I feel very accomplished today! :)

Had an odd dream the night before as well; there was some kind of class going on with some weird man in the Child Care Lab at school, and some boy got in trouble for voicing his own opinion. Then some woman came in, being an "expert" in government and started talking to us about how we don't have the right to voice our opinions. Another boy spoke up, saying, "We have the right to express our own opinions..." and something else I can't remember correctly, but the male teacher totally disagreed, replying, "No you don't..." and something which made me really mad that I can't remember. I was about to speak up and say something like, "Why can't we say what we think? Is the government scared of us or something, scared that we might be right?" (Scared of WHAT???) But someone else kept talking, keeping me from asking anything, which was making me very agitated, then the bell rung and I was annoyed because of what they were saying and the fact that I never got to ask my question, feeling that it had been very important.

Thoughts and comments on the dream welcome, but I shall go to bed now. ;)

Peace and Luv,
~*Amy:)
