OMG!!!
Guys, I have a car!!! My very own, my very first, car!!
It's an '89 Ford Thunderbird. It's got a few physical flaws, but not near as many as I've seen some people's first cars have. It's burgundy, Mom described it as a "champagne color". Oh, it's nice, really... Mom bought it from Kim, coworker and friend of the family, and surprised me with it. I'd thought Kim's husband had come up to look at the tree limb that needed hauling or something, but no, I kept asking what was going on and then it dawned on me, "Is it mine?" Mom just smiled, "D'ya want it?" Haha, of course!!!
It only costed $800. That's how much Kim paid for it. Actually, they traded an older vehicle of theirs in and were going to pay the rest, but they couldn't afford another car payment, so they sold it to Mom! And I'm gonna buy it off her (easy, she holds my money anyway, lol), then we gotta get the tags and everything next week, as well as my permit whenever my aunt Becca starts teaching me how to drive it.
