I have a nasty zit-thing in my left outer ear. I thought I got rid of it last night when I stuck a hot, wet washcloth in my ear... but now it hurts like a muthafucka. I just got off the phone with Fairview's Center for Family Medicine, and now I'm on the phone with the 24-hour CareSource ask-a-nurse and she's trying to assess what's up with my ear and give me the address of the nearest emergi-care place I can go to as soon as possible cuz the CFM is closed until Tuesday.
Gah... why is always things on my left side that fucks up?! Except for the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastitis mastitis I had back in August... that was in my right boob (Katey's favorite boob, no less!).
The nurse suggested that I just pop a Tylenol, do the hot, wet compress thing again... and then first thing Tuesday morning I'm settin' up an appointment to get it looked at more offically.
