It's Okay, Rain On My Parade...
Hmm... it's raining. It sounds soothing. I always find rain to be comforting when I'm slightly depressed. I was going to take Natey and go for a lil walk, but it can wait until after the rain stops. It'll probably feel a lot more refreshing that way too.
P.S. I forgot to mention earlier that a really nifty and touching event happened last night! Jon & I were in the middle of our "pillow talk" and Lil Girl kept thumping me. Since she's still head down (which I hope and think she'll stay that way), I assumed that she was lightly thumping with her lil fists. So I put Jon's hand flat on my belly where she was kicking. (I seriously believe that she knows when it's his hand too because she's more responsive.) All of a sudden, she flattened out her hand and pressed it against my belly to his hand! I think it blew Jon's mind cuz after he told me what he just felt (all I felt was shifting on my end), he got really quiet for a moment.
Instant father-daughter bonding moment! Just thinking back to it makes me smile and get a lil misty eyed!
