So my dad has been offered an excellent position that will require he move to San Antonio. I think he will take it, it isn't the sort of thing he should pass up. I don't know that i want to move back to Texas, and i was going to move out in a couple months anyway. I'm nervous and my best guess is that its because it has put a solid date(~July) on a big step. I'm applying to law schools in new york and philly right now so if anyone is looking for a roommate in those areas around the fall or summertime you should mention it to me. maybe even if you aren't in those areas but just need a roommate because i will need somewhere to live. I own a kitten and a rather large television.

things that were good: graduated from college, found a job with lots of free time, aced the LSAT, attained enlightenment, conquered siderodromophobia, finished my first novel (IT by Stephen King), became a monkey's uncle
things that were bad: brief bouts (down 75% from 2008) of intense loneliness and depression compounded by my own shyness, Muktar died, got in a fistfight, got in a fight with my mom which culminated in not speaking to her for 3 (great) months (the mending process continues), sherlock holmes film did not contain mycroft holmes cameo.
overall assessment: 7 out of 10

goals for the new year: get into law school, get health insurance, lose some weight, find companionship, get some of my fiction or poetry published, fly an airplane or dirigible.
