(no subject)
It seems the way I feel abotu my drawing class fluctutates quite a bit, depending on how much progress I think I'm making at the time. This last class was really good, and I felt productive, like hte four classes I've been to now have actually helped me tremendously. Now I can jot down sketches and have it look mediocre rather than horrid. Yippee!
Also on Tuesday (the day of the class) I asked the cute
German girl out to coffee. I caught her off guard so she acted a bit suprised, but I think she was flattered. As is to be expected she has a boyfriend, but oh well, we're still getting coffee. Damn boyfriends. In any case, it was a 'moral victory', to quote Sam Duncan, and I think I beat a lot of my shyness. So look out, I'm liable to ask out any one of you at any time for any reason. This means you audrey, and you lexi, and you peter, and maybe even joanna's brother bob!
In other news... my expository writing class is going well. It's starting out with pretty basic stuff, but then again I never learned many basics of writing. I really really want to be able to articulate myself effectively and with ease. My tightly limited vocabulary is probably the main obstacle, but I'm working on it.
