Margarita madness!!!!

Nov 16, 2008 13:41

It is MADNESS how buzzy this margarita is making me feel...not really surprising, really, since I'm a lightweight...but whatever...

Joel made me promise last night that I wouldn't start drinking until I finished my homework (because I bought vodka and orange juice, andhe said I was going to get sloshed), so then I didn't get to drink because I didn't finish my homework until midnight. FUCK!  That sucked.  Well...really, it just sucked because we were watching UFC, and I dind't get to watch a lot of it, because I was trying to hurry and finish...

How come people on myspace have slutty ass pictures, and Ramon has a picture of a tea kettle that has his naked ass reflection in it, but I post a picture of Joel with a balloon in his mouth, and it gets deleted for being inappropriate?

I saw movies.

1. Election.  Old movie, starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick.  The description on the back of the box does not even BEGIN to explain the weirdness that is contained within that movie.  It reminded me a little bit of some of the craziness in Being John Malkovich, except not as uncomfortable.  There were parts where I would go "what the fuck??" but really, it made me laugh.  I would recommend it to certain people, but not others...naaaamean?

2. Fargo.  WHAT THE FUCK, Fargo???  I don't think this movie would have weirded me out so much if it hadn't been based on true events.  If you don't like violent movies, don't see it.  If blood and violence doesn't bother you, though, and you haven't already seen it, since I'm probably one of the last people on earth who HAS, I would watch it.  It made me laugh, it made me cringe, it made me shudder...I guess you could say it made me live.  Plus, come on, the Coen brothers?  Epic.

3. I'm honestly not sure if I have a three.  I have an empty margarita glass...that's what I have.  It's coldin my tummy right now.Ohhhkay, I do have more.  Blind Dating.  I rented it because Chris Pine was in it, and I like Chris Pine.  Basically, it's a movie about a blind guy who dates people, with some plot funkiness thrown into the mix.  Overall, it was a cute movie to watch, but I wouldn't buy it.  Parts of the plot (where he gets a chip implanted in his brain so he'll be able to see, as long as he's wearing his magic sunglasses, for instance) were a bit too much more me...but I'm a sucker for happy endings.

4. There's another one I saw, but I can't freakin remember what it was...oh yeah, Kung Fu Panda.  It was funny and touching in all the ways that animated kid movies usually are.  Jack Black did the panda voice, and I love Jack Black, so I would have liked it no matter what, but it really was a pretty entertaining flick.  Some of the newer animated movies coming out are complete shit, so I can't say that I had very high hopes for it, but it was cute, it was funny, and I liked it.  So there.

Maybe I shouldn't post movie review-esque posts while drinking...just a thought...

I want to take ashower, but my towels are in the dryier, wah.
