Maybe they could be a little more understanding, but did you really expect big brother to treat you differently just because you've worked there for a while? It's a corporation, not a company.

My time there notwithstanding, it's the fact that I had a MEDICAL excuse. Seriously, I didn't know it was possible to get in trouble for something you did not cause/control. I brought them hospital documentation, as well as the recommendation from the staff doctor. The note says, and this is verbatim; "The test being inconclusive, a day off from work and sleep should help the patient regain some energy back, as well as prevent future blackouts". My family doctor concurred. This really frustrates me, because MEDICAL leave should not be punishable. Plus, I cannot find any documentation that it is.
