never missed a ♥beat
we might lack the numbers to play around with,
we might not have the best team bond at present,
we might have differences individually,
we might not have full attendance or commitment at trgs,
we might not be as prepared as we should be,
we might not have proper weight trg sessions for a couple of weeks alr,
we might not be as close knit as before (outside of trgs),
we might have team mates with injuries & under the weather,
but its the hunger and common goal in each of us that brought us through the finishing line at the PA women's finals today.
not first but not last, still i am happy we made it this far ladies! =)
and we are gonna work harder!
vividly i remember,
we may not have started strong yst at the heats but we still hung onto any glimpse of hope that we'd make it through to the semi-finals, giving us more purpose for a comeback today.
we learnt from our mistakes and we made the semi-finals a better set although we emerged 4th just by a few milisecs from RP. sad we were, when we thought we couldnt make it to the finals but the door was opened for us again! hearing the good news, michelle and i were so relieved and happy to be given a chance in the finals, we jumped and hugged each other screaming 'YAY's like small little girls! opponents at the finals whom we feared upon hearing just their names previously are now not as fearful as before.
we know we are capable of being on par or ahead of them. AND WE CAN!! so to my ladies, we will stand by and be each others' pillar of support from start to the end. dont let a ray of doubt slip in. others might belittle us but what matters is we staying firm to our beliefs and killing for that inch. TOGETHER LADIES! =)
don't we just look so happy with glee? everyone's teeth is showing! can be perfect sponsors for darlee or colgate! i miss the times we shared, be it good or bad happy or sad. spending time with the ladies has been one of the best moments in my life, etched in my ♥!
having lina and vanessa come down to support us even though they've moved on with other sports and plans was really heart warming; to have our entire batch tgt again. AND WILSON CAME BACK! no wonder joyjoywakeup was like blushing to the max please! i may not have travelled the entire 3 years with them but i still feel a sense of belonging whenever we're all together. =)
