lesson learnt,
NO LUNCH IS FREE IN THIS WORLD.
i seriously think monday's free dinner is the cause of whatever that has been happening to me. sheer KARMA capslock to the max!!!! the exact same thing happened to me just a day before Regatta 07!
i cross my heart and promise that it was NEVER my intention to get away with a free meal. i ordered to have it packed and to not be an obstruction to others, i stood at one corner. i must've been exhausted by a long day of driving and helping out at CCA Fiesta that the power supply to my brain was certainly switched off. i just took my meal and walked away as the store attendant served someone else. i only realised not paying for the meal when i reached the bus stop. (normally i'd place my wallet in my bag after getting smth but i found my wallet still in my hand!) that left me thinking, to walk back and pay or to just head back since i'm already at the bus stop. laziness and excuses led me legs home. sorry integrity.
>> exactly what happened in NP canteen 2 a day before SRR07! janis and i didnt pay for our fish soup and the night before SRR i freakin had diarrhoea, i couldnt race properly the next day! freaking karma i tell you! =(
TUESDAY MORNING, i had the runs 5 times within an hour or so. i was in horrible state but i survived. thank god d's life line operates 24/7. =)
TUESDAY EVENING, the hateful fever broke down my system into many pieces.
WEDNESDAY was the road to recovery. *phew
THURSDAY was WORLD CRAMPS DOMINATION DAY! for once, the pink pills didn't help but napping on the bus journey to NP and training the new batch of year ones did help take my mind off the unforgiving cramps. now tell me why girls hate to be girls sometimes!
and today, i've a bad TOOTHACHE! my wisdom tooth hurts like mad, i'm telling you the entire left side of my cheek or mouth feels as good as though its paralized! =(
hurts so bad i dont even feel like eating!
this may sound stupid but from today onwards, I PROMISE TO PAY FOR MY FOOD!!!
