Posting Meme: December 16th - Tell me about Crowley (SPN)
The problem I have with Crowley is that I adore Mark Sheppard, and find him so utterly endearing and delightful that I find myself rooting for him, despite the whole evil demon business with the killing and torturing. Sure, he's a asshole, but he's an asshole with charm and style.
Honestly though, aside from my Mark Sheppard fangirling, I do love the character. We've seen Crowley victorious, but we've also seen him vulnerable and beaten down, which is interesting for a demon. He does keep his side of a bargain, as is appropriate for a crossroads demon. I'm very intrigued with him right now--how much of him is human, after the treatment in last years season finale? (which JP and MS rocked in a big big way). I hope we see more of him in the second half of the season - apparently MS has been a busy man and wasn't available for much of the first half. I think his story is going to be very interesting, and I can't wait to see it.
