Even the "indie" theater has betrayed me. Then again, they broke my heart years ago.
Juxtaposed to the previous rant, Transformers was PRETTY GOOD. As long as you want NOTHING to do with characterization, plot, structured storytelling, THE ABSENCE OF ENORMOUS PLOT HOLES, and tasteful humor. If you want to see GIANT ROBOTS PANCH and a pretty EPIC final battle, not to mention a BLOOD RIOT OPTIMUS PRIME, then you'll be pleased.
