How do you know it's you birthday if you've died. Is your birthday when you woke up, undead and not living?

She stands at the edge of the greeting card aisle, looking longingly at the card she's never going to receive again. Her parents died long ago and her siblings left shortly thereafter. She's the only one left, alone and lost.
