Yes. The story was several thousand years long and I felt I'd been in there in real time. Plus I ate too many cheap sweeties and felt really nauseous afterwards. (At least, I think it was the sweeties.)

but the US remake of The Grudge reallly freaked me out.

It had its moments, particularly the scene in the building hallway where all the lights go out in sequence.
