Long Time No Meme

lynnb did a movie meme. I enjoyed it.

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
Star Wars: A New Hope

2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.
See above. Also The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. And more recently, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Hmm, I found this tougher to answer than I thought. Maybe Johnny Depp? But not indiscriminately.

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Eddie Murphy

5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
Withnail and I

6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
Rocky Horror Picture Show

7. Name a movie that have been known to sing along with.
Well, see number 6. Duh! Also Oliver!

8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Breakfast at Tiffany's

9. Name a movie that you own.
Bride of Frankenstein

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
Cher maybe?

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
Never been to a drive-in.

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet gotten around to it.
Capote.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?
No.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
Sideways.

16. Popcorn?
Often.

17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
I always say I'll try and go once a month. But it doesn't usually work out that often.

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Blood Diamond.

19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
Can David Lynch be a genre?

20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Hee. I am fairly sure it was A Hard Day's Night.

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
Sideways. Indecent Proposal. AI.

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Probably Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
The Haunting (the original b/w version). And I know I'm in a minority here, but the US remake of The Grudge reallly freaked me out.

24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?
I don't know. I've laughed at many a movie, but naming a definitive "funniest" seems hardest to commit to. So I'll opt for Some Like it Hot and reserve the right to change my mind.
