So many animals, Martha Jones. I hunted last time.

I'm glad you're you, Coyolxauhqui, though I need to admit I found it fun last time when I was an animal.

I expect they'll probably do a fair bit of hunting one another. How do you feel about perhaps protecting some of the smaller ones?

Why should we protect the smaller animals? Bigger animals eating smaller animals is nature.

But we're not in nature at the moment, we're aboard the barge which is full of people who don't understand what they've turned into or how it works.

And there are people who are going to take advantage of that.

Why should we care? They will always find ways to hurt each other. In animal form at least it is more natural.

Because these people are our friends. What if it was Persephone or someone that a person was threatening? Normally, she's not small or defenseless, but what if she happens to be in this situation?

Persephone can take care of herself!

And what do I care for friends? Why should I care for anyone?

Can she take care of herself if she's little and fuzzy and lacks claws?

Because we need people, Coyolxauhqui, even goddesses do.
