Coyolxauhqui, are you still you? I'm going to come looking for you in case you're not, alright?
[Infirmary warden filter.-This bit is backdated to right after Victor's post eighteen million years ago. Or something. Stupid LJ.]
Alright,I need some advice and to make you all aware of something. I've been accused of intentionally harming patients, and I'm not quite certain how to deal with that. It's been... sort of rubbing around in my brain, and the doubts aren't going away.
And I mean medically harming people, like giving them the wrong medicines on purpose. I believe that this was the basis for Eddie's request to do the drug inventory for the barge. We'd gotten into arguments in the past over things like comas, and because I wouldn't allow him to do the inventory because he's not a doctor and doesn't have medical training.
When I went to treat Victor's burnt hands, Eddie demanded that I explain everything I was doing to him. It's not a request that I'm unfamiliar with, so of course I did it. He became increasingly agitated with me, accusing me of patronizing him or talking at him like I was stupid, which I wasn't doing. Then he demanded to see the wrappers for the antibiotic and analgesic creams that I was going to use on Victor's burns. He's said that he'd do the same of anyone else. He went on to say that for him to do anything else was to be irresponsible with his inmate. Eddie flat out doesn't trust any of us doctors, and I expect that he has reasons for his paranoia. Something happened so he doesn't trust doctors, and he especially doesn't trust medications.
I'm a bit... worried about this, actually and I'm angry about his accusations. But I don't know what else to do other than engage in whatever paranoia against doctors he's got. Does anyone else have any ideas? I'm trying to think of them, and I'm flat out of them. I'm also worried that whatever personal history the two of us have is going to affect this.
Bloody hell, how do I keep make enemies without meaning to? I should start keeping track.
