Oh snap! Something I wrote has been viewed by 2100+ people within one day

And it's kind of a little unnerving to think so many random people across the internet have been reading something I quickly put together but mostly it's pretty cool. :D

To start at the beginning I happened upon some laughably bad animated cut scenes a European game developer put in one of their PS2 games, Animal Soccer World. Although I sent it in along with some other tips to the editors at Destructoid I figured that no one would get to it since most of the writers hadn't been very active for most of the day. So, I decided to bite the bullet and watch all 32-some minutes of these terribly bad videos and do a write up of them in my community blog. They were just so bad everyone needed to know about their existence. Imagine my glee a couple hours later when CTZ (the guy in charge of the CBlogs) said he was going to promote it to the front page (a practice that happens occasionally on the site for good CBlog entries). Although he did make a few small alterations, changing the title (originally "And you thought BioShock had a memorable cinematic sequence? Puh-leeze!?) and removing a header picture of Andrew Ryan I spent a good 20 minutes editing in paint (you won't get the joke unless you've played BioShock) and added the sentence before the jump button where he mistakenly referrs to them as gameplay videos, but it didn't really bother me.

Here's the link to it if you want to check it out. Just beware about actually watching the videos, extended viewing CAN cause your face to melt. And about that editor's note at the beginning: The tip sending CTZ is referring to is the fact that I've been on the site's staff for a couple months as a News Contributor and I'm pretty sure he meant the "In fact, he's so good at it, some of us wonder if he even has a real life." sentence solely as a compliment. According to Excel's magic calculation abilities I only send in around 28.30 a day. :)

To make things even more awesome I just noticed that it's made the top of the 'Most Popular Stories' list, over on the right. Rawk.
