Personally I think that Zombies have the advantage as far as determination. But, vampires have the advantage in speed, flying, and other weird things (but do zombies have minds to read, I think not).

However since a vampirism is an infection as is zombism, wouldn't the two infections cancel each other out? Just a pile of dead? (resident evil 2 part of the zombies were already dead when infected by the way). Or would the two diseases mutate and meld into something else. But what do you get when you cross a zombie and a vampire? A flying zombie, a braindead vampire, a vampire that has a thirst for brains, or my personal favorite just dead?

I think the whole "drinking dead blood" thing is kinda silly, it should be like milk, you leave it out for a while, and it spoils. Just cause it's out of the cow doesn't mean it can't be drank. After all, there are a lot more movies that show that vampires can drink stored blood. The dead donor thing would mean that the stored blood would go bad as soon as the person would meet thier untimely demise. As for the infection thing, I think vampires are immune to infection, could be supernatural, could be just cause parasites don't infect dead things. You do have to be able to "change" from a living thing to a vampire though, a vampire biting a normal corpse wouldn't make it suddenly grow fangs. My conclusion is therefore: a vampire could bite a zombie, but why would he want he? and a zombie could bite a vampire, and the vampire would go "stop that, that's my job!" and poke him in the eye or something.
