Dear Festividder
I think I've finally settled on what to request for 
festivids! Offering is much easier, I find, though I've made a real effort to pair down my offers this year to only things I really want to vid, pretty much regardless of the particular request, rather than ticking every box I could.
C&Ped from the sign-up form, no additional information (apologies, vidder! I'll be sure to signpost it if I come back and add anything at a later date), but shared for the curious and for the possibility of treats (yay treats!).
Bomb Girls [TV]
Details: Are you noticing any patterns in my requests? Any kind of character or relationship (platonic or romantic/sexual) exploration would be fun, but my favourite characters are Lorna, Betty, and Gladys (and I actually ship Betty/Gladys more strongly than Betty/Kate, if I'm honest--especially after their conversation at the end of the last episode).
The Cabin in the Woods [Movie]
Music: I have a particular fondness for psychobilly and surf rock when it comes to cheeky vids.
Details: I really enjoy the way this film plays around with genre tropes, so something that celebrates that angle or pushes it even further would be delightful.
Death Proof (2007) [Movie]
Details: Another source full of fun characters and female friendships, and another one that does fun things with genre conventions, so either of those angles (female friendships or horror tropes) would be really fun to explore.
Inspector Lewis [TV]
Details: JAMES HATHAWAY OMFG. What a fantastic character. And Hobson, she's fantastic too. Basically they're all fantastic, aren't they? Would love a Hathaway or Hobson character vid or team/chosen family gen, or Hathaway/Hobson/Lewis or Hathaway/Hobson/Innocent/Lewis OT# shippiness.
New Waterford Girl [Movie]
Details: One of my favourite things about Festivids is the opportunity to make people aware of and interested in sources they previously knew nothing about, so that's what I'd like to see here: a vid that promotes the fantastic weirdness and grace of this movie. I wish you the best of luck, if this is what you decide to do, because I have basically no idea how to approach it myself.
Political Animals (2012) [TV]
Details: I'd love a vid focusing on Elaine and Susan, either on their respective lives and struggles in parallel or on their relationship with one another (read either platonic or sexual/romantic).
Scott & Bailey [TV]
Details: Gill and Janet and Rachel are all such fantastic characters; I'd love a character vid exploring any one of them or their relationships (platonic or Gill/Rachel preferred).
Women in Trouble [Movie]
Details: I'm assuming/imagining that this encompasses Elektra Luxx, as well, since they occupy the same world and use the same characters. This is another one that I just want more people to appreciate, because I think it's sort of glorious, particularly for the way it handles the many ways people can fall down and can pick themselves and each other back up.
