I saw X3 yesterday

So I saw it. I liked it more than I thought I would.

Magneto looked really sexy in the flashback to recruiting Jean.

Evil!Jean reminded me of the scary!Galadriel moment from LOTR.

The part in the Danger Room where Colossus shares his powers with Rogue just made me squee inside. He was all chivalrous and protective.

Was that Toad crawling on the wall of the church? My private theory is that it was and he thought "Fuck it, the last time I listened to this guy I got electrocuted and almost drowned."

I love morally ambivalent Charles. I don't know why, but I do. Charles being a bastard kind of made the movie for me.

I did not like how they scripted Pyro. He was more complex in X2, so him being a shallow zealot punk just rang false. He shouldn't have been so gung-ho to attack Bobby, and they should have talked more.

I did not expect Warren to be that sexy.

Why did it seem like everyone forgot about Scott besides Logan? That so fuels my love of Scott/Logan in movie'verse. Now Logan has two dead crushes to mourn.

I wish they had made Leech look a little closer to comics canon. Most of the movie mutants were too pretty.

What the X-Men did in this movie pretty much destroys any credibility they had as a peaceful organization dedicated to helping mutants. If I was a mutant and heard about what went down in Alcatraz, even if I didn't agree with Magneto's agenda at all I still wouldn't trust the X-Men again.

If I was Magneto I would have quite the mad-on against Hank McCoy right now.

I want some flashback fic to when Hank's uniform did fit him.

They made Kitty smart, and I loved that. If Kitty had been unable to outwit Juggernaut I would have had to smack someone.

I was amused that the stunt person list was about three times as long as the rest of the cast list.
