It's true: Whenever the Shock win, the Tigers lose. They were up 3-0, then the Athletics hit a grand slam. Things got worse from there. Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez got ejected from the game, because he was arguing with the umpire. He was REALLY arguing with him, though, chest to chest, as the newspapers called it. Called him a Son of a Bitch, and some other words that I couldn't hear. Wow, I didn't know Pudge was like that. But, hey, it's in all men. The testosterone.

Anyway, he didn't leave the dugout after being ejected untill throwing his cathing equipment, and a bag of baseballs, out near the field. The Tigers lost, 9-5. They're 2 games under .500 and have to put together a pretty smooth winning streak if they want to make the playoffs.

So I was watching the Detroit Sports Report, to see highlights of the Shock & Tigers' games. After showing the Shock highlights, it showed on the screen:

Shock trade Chandi Jones, Stacy thomas, and 1st round draft pick for Katie Smith.

Katie Smith! She's the All time leading scorer in women's professional baskteball, holds the WNBA record in points in one game. I thought the Detroit Sports Report was joking or something. But it's true. I just happened a couple hours ago, so I wonder if Katie will play tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm at Alyssa's, spending the night, obviously. (It's 12:07.) I played my twin sister, Bethany, one-on-one earlier. We didn't keep score, but I think I won. I'm getting so good. I'm starting to play a little like Diana Taurasi, with the threes and the post up turnaround jumper. I'd rather play like someone else, but she IS a star.

The Shock play tomorrow...Go Shock!
So do the Tigers...GO tigers!
