Really? Aw, man. What with me moving to the UK next year, I was hoping that people would have a healthier, more directly moronic attitude towards soccer there since, you know, they don't have to pretend to be British. It's like Canadians with hockey. Since we're in the thick of it, we can just be loud, beer-swilling retards but at least the thing we* enjoy is the hockey itself.

my friend sam took off 2 weeks from work so he can watch the world cup. i dont understand. he's not even european. but he has bad teeth, so maybe thats why he loves soccer.

To me, shrieking and freaking out is still preferable to insidious Euro-mongering. Although I'd probably be fucking pissed if it transpired outside my window.

It's like how, in high school there were all the retarded freaks who went to raves, but then there were the dweebs who wanted to be like the retarded freaks who went to raves and dressed like little ravers and walked around with pacifiers around their necks. And even the actual stupid ravers didn't do that shit.
