My husband has been playing Counterstrike lately, and he plays on a German server for the best connection. We found out tonight while listening to the voice comms of the German players that they actually PRONOUNCE "lol." As in, instead of just laughing over the mic, they will laugh while saying "lawl." O_O I've nearly said "el oh el" before jokingly, and I HAVE said "be are be" or "double-u tee eff" (the latter mostly), but "lawl"? Wow.
