Happy New Year everyone!
1. I resolve to write a whole lot more than I have been. This will be made much easier by the two creative writing classes I am taking next semester.
2. I resolve to never assume that the post office in a very small town will be open on a non holiday weekday. *sigh* I have a large pile of packages to mail here...
3. I resolve to have more confidence in myself and my abilities when it comes to both music and writing.
4. I resolve to be more assertive when I need to be, and to say no to doing favors when I really can't.
5. I resolve to not let people and their drama and their stupidity affect me negatively at all to an unreasonable extent.
6. Related to number five, I resolve to spend as much of my time as possible on and with people who affect my life in a positive way.
7. I resolve to be better about how I handle money and time.
8. I resolve to positively affect the people around me as much as possible.
9. I resolve to feed the ducks.
I had the GREATEST time at the New Year's party last night. We played a board game, watched three movies, ate ice cream sundaes, and generally had a really great and entertaining time. When you put that many outdoorsy nerds in a room, only wondrous events can follow.
I hope everyone on my f-list had a great New Year's eve, and day, and that 2011 brings much joy and accomplishment to all of you!
