Well, it is official, I have the turkey out of the refridgerator and in a bucket sitting in my bathtub with cold water running continually over it. My 20 lb bird was not defrosting fast enough and I need it to be ready to brine tomorrow, so I am using a trick I learned from Alton Brown to help me get the bird defrosted.
I will be making lots and lots of side dishes tomorrow - I'm so excited!
