Back in Amellyka now, and (kind of) suffering from jet lag - In my previous experience, if I don't manage to throw it off in the first day, it's going to stick around like a bad case of allergies for a couple of weeks. I say "kind of" because it's only 2 AM, and I slept 'till 1; so I rested up a decent bit, starting at a decent time (8PM), but I doubt I'm going to go back to sleep for a while. @___@;

One of the airport security told me: "*points at passport* This doesn't look like you. At all. You should retake." For one thing, I'm still stuck on whether or not that's an insult or a compliment, and for another, I'm still trying to figure out how he missed my nose. (It being one of the most recognizable feature on me.)

Funny note: I also saw a guy wearing a t-shirt reading:

I AM NOT A GEEK
(I am a level 12 paladin.)

Laughed a bit, told him how much I loved his shirt, then went off to whisper with Kelvin...

Me: So... What game is the shirt referring to? 'cause the first one that comes to mind is RO, then Diablo2, then Warcraft (even though in WC, 10's the max)... Every choice seems geeky, and I'm sure there's more out there.
Kelvin: It's Dungeons and Dragons, lah.
Me: *dong* That's even geekier! XDXD

Gah. And I've attempted Hector-Hard again (in Fire Emblem. T_T), and was actually doing quite well until I killed Raven. You're supposed to recruit him to your side by getting Priscilla to talk to him... And well, Raven's one of the best characters in the game later on, so killing him (while it will give you an oodle of experience) is a very bad idea. And in addition to that, you need to use Raven to talk to Lucius to recruit HIM to your side as well. Ze irony lies in this: I used ELIWOOD, of all people to deal the final blow, thinking all the while "Yey! More experience for the crappiest guy in my party! X3 Eliwood can finally get some experience so he can level up and not suck (as much)" GONKGONKGONK. *restarts level*
