Dear President Aquino:
The presidential campaign is over. Please consider tearing down your extremely yellow volunteer center along Katipunan Avenue so generously donated by your Ateneo high school and college batchmates and restoring our beloved drinking place, Coastnet, which we miss dearly.
Once in a while we want inexpensive beer, with Drews being a sufficient source for other mixed drinks with funny names.
Cantina is too pricey and is always full of Ateneans (no offense to my Atenean friends).
Service at Papu's and Mamu's is substandard. Huff.
The old Meatshop is too small. The new one is too far from civilized Katipunan.
Sarah's is a drinking garden. One look at the soil under your feet and you know.
Other choices are too far or not fun really fun hangouts.
Please bring back Coastnet. Alcoholics and soon-to-be alcoholics can vote too, you know. This is a threat.
