I mean really - shit.
So - getting the house refinanced meant the appraisal and DAMN.
SO IN ADDITION to the play (happily we didn’t have to rehearse Monday-Wednesday and tomorrow is just a pickup rehearsal I don’t even have to get dressed) (did I tell you about the play?) and the fact that I am WRITING A CHILDREN’S BOOK that will be presented WITH MY SERMON on Sunday (more about that later) we had to stop EVERYTHING and do a panic-clean for because we had to have the house appraised so we can save money to fix the house.
So imagine 2 days of cleaning non-stop until it was time to stop and go to do the play, then getting up the next day and doing it again, not JUST cleaning everything (garage, back yard, etc) but breaking down all the altars and making things look less pagan-y and more normal and packing all my piles of “to do over the summer” work from school into my car because there was no place else for it to go [and you can't imagine how many little projects that had been put off for years but more about that on tape] until the Appraiser Lady came and said we can do the refinancing IF we paint the entire house (Which means we have to SCRAPE THE ORIGINAL PAINT because of when the house was built) AND fix the fallen celine in the garage. WHICH WE NEED TO BORROW MONEY TO DO which was the point of refinancing the house but yeah. So I had to stop writing my sermon so I could help matt measure the house because his sister wants to have a family painting party and pay for the paint for his birthday?!?!?! Anywhere that’s where he is now.
AND in the middle of looking up articles for my sermon my computer picks up a scarewear virus and now I can’t open Internet Explorer but have to do everything through chrome (that’s ok it just makes me nervous) and hope to god I can call IT and they can fix it remotely because I can’t take it clear across town TO IT until Monday which sucks because I was going to sell plasma monday. All this is interfering with my summer job - selling plasma.
So IN THE MEAN TIME I wrote a children’s book - my friend (pastor at our UU church and tattoo artist) drew the pictures and I’m turning it into a powerpoint now. Would you have time to read the text & proof? It wouldn’t have to be anytime soon since I’m only reading it outloud this sunday while doing a power point of the awesome pictures.
Damn.
