i miss stargate
Normally I try to keep life sane by only taking one freelance job at a time (in addition to working a full-time job). But several opportunities have come up in the last couple weeks that overlap, and they were all too good to pass up. So I'm maybe a little crazy and frazzled at the moment trying to get it all done. The good news is I'm at the point with several of them that I can "watch" shows while I'm working.
I've been watching Season 10 of SG-1 (I'd been watching Season 4 of Atlantis and couldn't bring myself to watch Season 5, so taking a break). Mostly I'd had an idea for a sequel to the fic I am supposed to be finishing up, and since I can't work on the fic at the moment, I can at least do some passive research! Yay for multitasking!
Anyway, I discovered SG-1 between Seasons 8 and 9. I inhaled the backlog in time to watch Season 9 live. That's probably why I was late to the Atlantis bandwagon, I was already overloaded with SG-1. But eventually I saw the light when Season 10 was over. I backtracked and got caught up with Atlantis. And then eventually made my way to the online fandom. A bit behind everyone else, but got there in the end. :)
So that was really it. Feeling a little nostalgic. Missing the show knowing there will never be any more adventures for these guys on the screen. At least you guys are out here writing, making art, and keeping the fandom alive. Thanks much! <3 <3
