Sleeping patterns and prohetic dreams?
I have no officially finished all my courses and tests and such this semester. I am glad for this although kind of feel bad because now I have nothing left to do. Been trying to met up with people for lunch or dinner but I either get canceled or stood up. Maybe it was the stress of that that kept me up til 7AM last night. On the plus side I think I'll be able to maintain my 4.0 or have it fall to just a 3.95.
When I finally fell asleep though I had a weird dream. It felt like more than one but there were no breaks in between probably because I wasn't in REM sleep more than once. The dream started out with me in a rather large house, sort of an amalgam of the house I had in Miami and the one I reside in now, except it had a second floor. I never went up on it but saw a staircase a few times. I was asked to pick up a movie by malamute , something for Halloween apparently. I drove over to the Blockbuster I sued to go to in Miami, but the other buildings were arranged oddly and it was a weird kind of night time darkness. I was foggy too which it never was late at night in Miami. I can't remember the movie but they didn't have it in at the time. I got back into my car where I locked the doors and a bunch of teenage kids were mystified by something from my car and almost hit some trying to leave the area. When I got over to Mal's place, I realized wait aren't you not on the continent at the moment? Apparently this was after so figured ah must of lost my sense of time.
Then I sat down to relax and talk with Mal and eli_yote and talk about how things were. I also noticed they were currently residing in a rather nice house. I also had a Christmas present with me, so I realized ah must of been mistaken about it being Halloween. It was a canister with some gourmet candies and treats and such that I had obtained for them and they seemed very appreciative. After that we were talking for a while and I ended up in the mall with the two of them. It was evidently 3AM but the shops were still open and was rather confused by it. I also was noticing jewelry shops more than any other. After walking along I noticed other furs and such walking past and then there were a bunch at the end of the hallway I was walking down. Maybe 30 or so. I tried to talk to some but there was something going on and couldn't get anyone's attention. Time elapsed and I went outside for a second and found myself in my backyard. It was again a mix of multiple ones I have been in and others that did not connect. There was this high ledge near my backyard and there was something moving about. I was told by a distance voice to trim him, and was wondering what that person was talking about. I saw this large creature, maybe a fox? But like the size of a Collie or something. Then I noticed this growling and saw this larger than average wolf on that ledge, but covered in quills and spines along its torso. It jumped down and then a mix of horrifying things started walking out of doorways and such and the various people in the backyard began to be frightened and then I awoke.
Now that was a long big of dreaming and they never go on that long in my experience. Something happened in real life though, around the time I woke up which I didn't expect. I woke up at 9:50 and couldn't fall back asleep until about 11 but unbeknown to me, the house next door was broken into. The persons broke in a window which alerted the owner who was still at home, and someone saw the two men skulking about suspiciously and called the police and when the alarm went off the police were about there and caught them. Why anyone would rob a place in broad daylight is beyond me but oh well, justice was served I suppose. Although the cars of this house, but no other, have been vandalized twice, on separate occasions. Nothing stolen, just windows broken and such. Well that was a surprising bit of local excitement I suppose, but still, hoping I can find someone to do something with this weekend, and that I can get something to eat soon as I'm famished.
