NaNo2012, day six: I have become a crazy virtual cat lady

Last Line of Dialogue*: “Is that real?” I asked. “It looks like it ought to belong to a fairy tale.”
Saxen gave his inscrutable smile, his grey eyes glinting with laughter as though whatever I’d said had been terribly amusing to him.
“Yes,” he said, “it does."
Miles Traveled Today, On Foot or By Bicycle: 13
328 words written today. Still bad, but at least I'm ahead of the NaNo wordcount for day 6. By a whole 5 words! Hell yes!
My copy of Catz 5 arrived today. Anyone remember the Petz games? :P I feel like I'm 15 again. I'm pretty sure I still have my show certificates and rosettes of my top show Dogz, actually. Somewhere. Ha. I got the Catz version because Ben won't let me have the real thing as his mum is allergic, which is a completely understandable ban - but still sad, as I've had cats for all 26 years of my life. So now I have virtual ones. :3 They are Carausius (alley cat), Boudicca (Ragdoll), Kronos (Desert Lynx) and Semerkeht (Egyptian Mau). Kronos is an idiot. Carausius thinks he's better than everyone else ... naturally. Boudicca just sits and stares. Semerkeht is the best because she can do tricks.
...Yes, this is what my life has descended too.
* I found a thread on the NaNo forums where people were posting their last line of dialogue ... so I'm doing that instead of the daily sentence now, because it's marginally less boring.
