Way too much fun...
My singles group-thing (Highlife) had a chocolate making party tonight. We got to make chocolate pizza, chocolate shishkabobs and chocolate pretzels. And we got to drink wine throughout. WAY too much fun. And, you know, chocolate to bring home and console myself with after hell allergy testing tomorrow. Oh, and the wine was kickass - I'm such a picky wine person. They had a really good pink wine (rose', blush, whatever) that was sweet enough even for me. :)
In other news, a good friend of mine, one of my co-teachers from my team last year, was carted off in an ambulance today when she had the MOTHER of all asthma attacks in class. Her eighth graders completely freaked out, but were actually well-behaved throughout. Amazing what someone nearly dying on you can do.
My monitor is actually letting me see what the frak I'm doing for a few minutes so I'm just checking in. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if my new monitor is in early by any chance. I'll be up that way when I go to hell allergy testing.
On the good news side: I get to leave work at lunch time tomorrow for the above mentioned hell.
And Asphaltia (Patron Godess of parking spaces) totally loved me tonight. Parking on my block has been hell lately, but she saved me a spot right across the street from my building tonight. :)
