I have made candy! They are in the freezer hardening, which is probably the only reason I haven't eaten all of them already, because OM NOM NOM pretzels+peanut butter+chocolate! It's salty and sweet and crunchy and creamy ALL AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!
I have made
adorable mini-cards for Halloween. I cannot tell you how very much in love I am with these things.
I have also made a very cool, very sleek
Halloween card. (I also made another card, but I haven't gotten a chance to post it.)
I made these last week, but I have made
cupcake picks (also for Halloween. Anyone noting a trend here? :)
I have made 28 of 35
Rainbow Makers for an order I got yesterday.
I have made a purchase... well, a rental. I've been dithering over which Cricut Halloween cartridge I wanted to buy. Even on sale they're $35 and not all of them are available in the store. I can order them for $50 or $60 from the manufacturer, but I kept going back and forth over which one I'd use the most. Then they did an AWESOME thing. They bundled up 10 Halloween cartridges in the digital center and let us rent them for $20 for 60 days. Which will get me through the season. So now, as I plunk around I can see which ones I keep going back to and decide if I want to shell out the actual bucks. There will be a whole new crop of images next year, so with luck I can just wait and rent again from the next group next year. :) (And also, my house is not cluttered up with a million cartridges I only need for two or three months a year.) I'm really hoping they do a winter pack rental right after Halloween. Then the 60 days will actually be useful.
I made my computer talk to my Cricut. It's still a cranky relationship, but at least I seem to be able to reliably cut a whole page of images when I want to.
And yet... even with all that, I can't figure out where the day went. I don't feel like I've done enough to actually take up all the hours between 10:00 (when I finally dragged my arse out of bed) and now - 7:30.
