So I realized at about 7:00 last night that it was spiffy-lot pass day. Damn. Woke up this morning and ran straight out at 9:00 to see if there were any left. Got the 2nd to last one. #99 Woot! (I swear the email said they were only giving out 70, but I got #99 ... okay, not arguing. I know there's never more than 100.)
Anyway, since I was out before the real 'heat of the day' I grabbed my camera bag with the intent of doing the Magic Hedge.
But... no. Between Aunt Flo (blurgh.) and near-lethal humidity, today has been canceled. Got the pass, got breakfast, came home and am now in the air conditioning with a heating pad on my middle. Ah contrasts, we love you. (blurgh. Again.) Seriously I know now why I don't mind hiking in November or December. It might be chilly, but I can *breathe*.
In other news....
Okay, I'm sure other people have been counting down minutes, but I um... haven't been paying nearly enough attention. I just last night noticed that Covert Affairs is on at *9* local time. Which means that White Collar is being pushed down an hour. FUCKSTICKS! I have ceramics tonight. And I don't get home (busses willing) until 8:30. Nevermind that if this becomes the permanent timeslot it will be on directly opposite NCIS LA in the winter. THIS IS HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE!
So seriuosly, I'm going through severe angst trying to decide if I should a.) just ditch ceramics tonight, it's the MFing season premiere. The World Will Be Watching! b.) leave at 7:30 and skedaddle home for it c.) I have a damn TIVOesque thing and no Saturday studio, go to ceramics and stay. Teevees will be there.
Sigh. Such complications in my life, I know.
