Pre-Nationals Update
Okay, LiveJournal keeps logging me out. Is this happening to everyone, or is it just MY lucky day?!?
Hmph.
Okay, movin on... NATIONALS IS ON THURSDAY!!! AAAAUUUURRRGGGGGHhHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! WHERE'S THE DAMN PANIC BUTTON ON THIS LIFE??
Naw, just messin. ;) But I am pretty nervous, and WAY excited. Of course THIS year I have all these EXPECTATIONS piled up on me. But what's a national swim meet without a little pressure, right? :P I'm going to meet most of my old buddies again, which'll be really neat. The sad thing is that I have NO clue who I'm up against. Last year, Mr. Rogers (thefamous) was at least able to tell us how many people were in our age group. So far, I've been able to narrow down 4 for sure from last year's number, and MAYBE 2 more out... which leaves five other girls... most of them probably butterfly swimmers (I'm a breasatstroker, so that's marginally good, I guess - or not. WHO KNOWS ANYMORE?!?)... and I don't know about the girls who just changed age groups (i.e. just turned 15).
I'm hungry. Well, I'm off to eat. And think. We get our Nationals swimsuits today (hopefully). We were supposed to get them last Thursday, but they got caught at Saudi Arabian customs, and sent back. *rolls eyes* they probably resented the fact that the boys and girls suits were in the same box. XDXD
