I have like eight papers to finish. So I am updating my Livejournal.
Most of my observation papers are half finished. Like, seven or so. I finished the part where I wrote down what I saw and some of the "What management techniques were being used?" parts. In most of them I have no idea what management techniques were being used though. I mean, it's not in my book or anything so it's not like I have anything to refer back to. Also, I feeling very lazy today so reading through my book and finding out how to relate all of these random instances in literacy teaching is not working out so well.
I also need to finish my text-set project for Cross-Curricular Literacy. Boring. Except it's on whales! Which makes it less boring, but not enough for me to actually want to do it.
Really, I slept in too late and I've been dicking around with my guitar too much today. Fuck. Also, they had a free lunch at work today and even though it was my day off I went up there and ate. I cannot refuse a free meal, especially if it is steak and shrimp. yum.
So plans for this weekend are as so:
Tonight: Bars and movie with Dena in Dallas somewhere. The movie is going to be determined on what time Dena's daughter's yellow belt test ends. So it will either be: Baby's Mama, Smart People, or Expelled. All of these movies are going to be great so it's not like it matters.
Tomorrow: Judo practice that I haven't been to in two weeks so Burt is going to yell at me. Oops. Then work. Then I have no idea. Probably more paper writing.
Sunday: Denton Jazz and Arts Festival maybe? RoxAnne and Kyle both said something about going. It's a big maybe though. Also-- more paper writing will probably commence on this day as well.
