you'd think i never leave this netcafe
here's wussup:
i've been painfully sick the past 2 days. my tummy hurts, like the guy who had an alien come out of it. i didn't leave the room, i didn't/couldn't sleep, and i could barely read or watch football.
the day before i got sick i went with my two good friends to the dirtiest, saddest, loudest, poorest place i've ever seen. we visited with this coptic christian boy and helped correct his view regarding works for salvation. it was a beautiful time. God kicked major butt there. and i got relationship tips from a guy my age who's engaged to a girl that lives over in austria. i'm not sure why i mentioned this, i just thought it was funny that a guy in egypt is engaged to someone in austria. funny, i know it isn't.
today i took a trip on the nile. it's nice, and i got some good pics (i hope). going to an english church tomorrow, so hopefully i won't fall asleep this time. egypt is sorta wearing on me, too many people all the time, not enough patience and energy for 17-hour days. but i do enjoy it most of the time, the people here are very funny and soooooo nicenicenice, it's almost sickening. i just need a shower and sleep, then i'll be in the right mindframe. and that's enough out of me for one night.
