hello from thousands of miles away. well, to anyone who still cares/reads this.

where do i start? well...i'm not sleeping, i'm eating waaayy too much pita and talking about wayy too much soccer....oh yeah, football. the first, obvious question: do i like it here? mostly yes. it's loud, dirty, crowded, all-around crazy. don't get me started on the driving here. it is hell...really. there are no lanes, no breaks, you use your horn for every single movement that you make. i've seen 4 turn signals so far, really. and the pedestrians...ahhhh!. the people are just as crazy, nice, and hilarious. sorry, i don't know anyone named ali or anything, but i do know a larry. the language is crazyhardimpossible, but it's fun all the same. so far this has been a trip of firsts: flying on a plane, doing a layover in a foreign country, meeting a guy from san dimas in a heathrow bus, eating airplane food (7/10), airplane movies, getting yelled at in a foreign tongue, going to a net cafe, seeing the pyramids, riding a horse and a camel by the pyramids, seeing the sphinx, playing soccer on foreign soil, being woken up by loud prayer chants at 4 in the morning, and dealing with time changes (not so well), eating a "sandawitch" (tastes like bread and chicken). i could go on. anywhoodle, i think i'm about done. i'm sooo stretched to the limit it's not fun/ny. and i caught plenty of flak for america losing. whatever, at least we got in. i miss you my habibi, see ya'll when/if i see ya. i could get killed out here. whee.
