Oh, the places I'll go
to get plants from Chow!
I search high and low,
I dig to and fro
to find flowers I know
in your garden will grow!
Thankyouthankyou to Chow for helping me to fill my car full - FULL - of plants! Buckets of plants! Up for grabs I currently have:
BEARDED IRIS - full sun preferable, partial shade possible.
* white: very fragrant.
* champagne: pale yellowish, slightly smaller blooms
* purple: all purple blue, top petals lighter than bottom
* reddish purple variant: same as above but looks slightly more red to me
* gold: yellow yellow yellow
* mixed bag: a bunch of the above that didn't have flower stalks to identify them, probably purple and gold
DAFFODILS - full sun - partial shade
I have no idea what color they are but I have a ton of them.
DAYLILIES - full sun
Two (or more?) varieties. Big green foliage and small green foliage. Chow said there are some Stella d'Oros in there, but danged if we know which ones they are. ;)
ABELIA - full sun
Two small shrubs. Heavy summerlong bloomers, very attractive to bees. Easily shaped. Final size 4-6 feet. These are bare roots in buckets and I would prefer to get them in the ground sooner than later, so if you'd like them please let me know ASAP.
NATIVE HYACINTH - full sun-partial shade
Tiny blue. I don't know if they're fragrant.
STARFLOWER - I think this one prefers partial shade, woodland habitat
Tiny stalks send up delicate little white flowers in early spring
FALSE SOLOMON'S SEAL - woodland habitat
Very few. single stalk with variegated leaves, flowers negligible.
MAY APPLE - woodland habitat
Very few. Big parasol/clover like leaves.
FERN - woodland habitat
Only 3, very small.
Annnnd I think that's it. If I am coming to your garden this week, I can bring you some of this stuff. Let me know if there is something in particular you would like. Otherwise I will bring what I feel like bringing.
