Merlin, let's get this over with quickly. Yes, I am you, but you from a different world. This place is called The Dressing Room and it appears to be a nexus between dimensions. You'll encounter people who look like you, and people who don't but nevertheless have the same name. There's also a cavalcade of strangers here who appear to come from very different worlds indeed. It's very awkward to start with but you'll get over it. Oh, and magic doesn't work here and you won't remember this place once you leave.
