Shooting Star Diner, Strangetown
Goneril and Bianca’s first date was a lowkey affair, which was a breath of fresh air for both of them. Who knew they would run into each other in Strangetown, of all places?
Not the fanciest places to be, but it was somewhere they can just have fun and live life in without worrying about running into familiar faces.
Well, almost...
“Mamma?”
Isabella suddenly tackled Goneril and caused a commotion in that tiny Strangetown diner.
“Let’s...have a little chat outside, shall we?”
Goneril cringed behind the car as Isabella aired out Veronaville’s dirty laundry in plain view. The more time she spent a long time away from the bloodbath
“You move out of the Ranch for two seconds, and now you’re canoodling with a Capp. Mio dio, Bianca, how could you do this to us?”
“But Mamma--”
“Your papa will not hear the end of this, Bianca. The Capps are a bunch of corrupt, no good ll-- ”
Bianca averted her gaze away from Isabella and stopped her on her tracks. “Mamma, you don’t even have to like her, but at the very least respect that I have a life too? If things fall apart, that’s on me, but I can’t stand having my own choices be put on a damn microscope all the time.”
She then turned her back and whisked off with Goneril back to the apartment.

As soon as they entered Bianca’s apartment, Bianca sank into the couch and broke down. “This was supposed to be a place I could get away from them. Now, my entire family knows where I am.”
Goneril rubbed her back to try and console her, but there’s no stopping the tears.
“Bee, listen to me - we can’t control how people back home are going to react to...us...but you’re a great person and a great friend.”
“Oh…”, Bianca sniffed. “I thought we were gonna be--”
“...and I would be the luckiest woman in the world if you would want to be more than just that.”
Before Bianca could say anything else, Goneril planted a kiss on her forehead. “Just wait for me. I’ll cook you my favorite dish.”
The smell of cooking cream sauce emanated the entire apartment. A Capp knowing their way around the kitchen? Big news indeed.
Goneril served two plates of the pasta in front of her. “I used to hang out in the kitchen while the cooks prepared this. They called it Goopy Carbonara. Do you want to have a try?”
She took one forkful of the pasta and fed Bianca with it.
“What do you think?”
“As your girlfriend, I say it’s delicious. As a Monty, I say this is technically an Alfredo sauce, not Carbonara.”
Goneril stared at her in confusion. “What you’re saying is…”
“Don’t even think about calling this Carbonara in front of Mamma.”
“As if she doesn’t already loathe me enough as it is.”
Once they finished all the pasta on their plates clean, a faint glimmer sparked on Bianca’s eye. “You know what, Gon? I’m still hungry.”
“How about some dessert, my love?”
“I have the perfect thing in mind to cap off the night.”
