That last thirty minutes....

I always hate that last thirty minutes before you get off from work. It either creeps by at an agonizing pace, or rushes up so fast that you know you didn't get everything done before you are free to go. So here I stand at the computer with the former rather than the latter. In fact! I did my taxes after I balanced the morning ledger here at work. All 15 minutes it took me to do it!

In Koi/Pond News:
We have lots of baby koi that are beginning to pick up some color. They are much easier to see now, but by no means ready for any traumatic movement to a different incubation tank. We went to Creative Water Gardens yesterday and picked up 3 different varieties of water lily (2 each) and 4 new fish. They are not bright and colorful like the previous fish, but instead grey with a crosshatch patterning and colors of brown/gold and blood red/copper over them. We are hoping to cultivate an Ochiba from them (http://www.kiko-gmbh.de/index-koi-ochiba.shtml) We saw two beautiful Ochibas at the koi show in Frisco last year. For anyone who is interested the next koi show will be in Colleyville this year at the new Pond Store. I will post some more details later.

In other news, school is finished for this semester and I aced both of my classes with A+'s. I am registering for my next two later this afternoon and those will start around mid-may.

Well, this whiled away about ten minutes of time......Guess I will read so more of my book!
