Mating, Incubation and birth...
yep, that's right, we are the proud......parents. or .grandparents? of a new brood of Koi. Our koi mated last Saturday and the eggs are starting to hatch today. They are no longer than a grain of rice and even thinner! I can't wait to see what kind of colors we come up with. Since the whole htings was unexpected and we had no idea who was mail or female, Poor Oreo(Female) was pulvarized by Senguin, VIctoria, and El Camino 2 for about 12 hours. I have to say that we probably named all of our breeding fish backwards....I guess that's we started the non-gender names last year.
