Since 17th December we've some sort of snow covering the ground/garden. It's the longest period of cold weather for some considerable time here - and locally we have managed to miss most of the heavy falls. And I really thought when we moved here over thirteen years ago (quite a distance further north) that we would have snow all the time but alas we've had less than when we were in East Anglia.

I went sledging on the South Common on Saturday :) (We used shallow Ikea storage boxes and not one of them survived the afternoon! I gained a couple of impressive bruises from the lip of the box which form a continuous line across the backs of both my legs:)) It was fabulous - I spent the rest of the day on a giddy high! We were gutted when the rain came on Sunday and stopped the repeat performance we had planned. :(

At one point John, Ozzie and Ellie were all sitting on the bodyboard and it would completely spin round and then continue on the run.

Good Christmas thanks although I did eat far too much and spoilt by Santa too - We're a sucker for sparkly lights outside but we don't put them on the house just drape them in all the trees - and I don't like ones that flash.
