Characters: Sora Setting: Entrance Room Time: Night 006, I believe? Summary: Sora arrives. Basically. Warnings: Sora's stupidity, maybe? AND A BAD INTRO POST. Here's to hoping I did everything right..

The thing to do was go explore, he had decided. It seemed like an okay enough place. There were people around, right? It's not like he was all alone. And he could take anyone that tried to give him trouble. Or, at least he thought he could. But Sora didn't really know what went on at the house. He had expected it to be like any other world he'd been to. He had always had a little difficulty, but it turned out alright in the end.
..Well, it almost had. Kairi and Riku had disappeared again. Sora was starting to believe that there was just no way they were ever going to be together again. They should have shared a paopu fruit or something. Then he'd know that he'd find them again. It was starting to become like one of those old movies, where they would find eachother in a crowd for a split second, only to lose eachother. Again

Whatever Namine had expected him to do, that... definitely wasn't it. Scrutinizing the decorations? That, if nothing else, proved he didn't know the trouble he was in -- or at least didn't care. ...Come to think of it, she kind of doubted if he'd have the common sense to be scared. He did spend most of his time fighting evil, heart-stealing shadow-creatures.
It seemed he didn't know she was there. She wasn't surprised -- people had a tendency to overlook her. But, still, that couldn't be allowed to continue, even if it was more comfortable for her. The only problem was... what would she say? 'Oh, hi, yeah, I know you probably only remember me as that weird girl that happens to be Kairi's Nobody that you completely forgot about meeting before but, haha, you're going to think this is hilarious, but I live here, y'see, and, haha, so do you, know. Oh, by the way, it's haunted! Isn't that wonderful

It wasn't anything exciting. What was there was there, and Sora decided he should probably stop being near things. He would probably break something otherwise. He had already slipped once, hadn't he? He didn't want to slip again and get in to trouble. He minded his feet as he walked. He was looking down at them, paying close attention to them. The last time he slipped, he went from soft to hard. He did not like the feeling of body against hard floor.
And then, he looked up.
The first thing Sora looks at is faces. It's what registers first for him. And that was the case here. The face was so similar to a ertain redhead..
"Kairi!" He had stopped caring about his feet and bounded towards Namine. He was about to throw his arms around her when he realized something. It wasn't Kairi. Well, not all of her.
The girl before him looked so familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Maybe it was just the fact that she looked so much like Kairi.. but he couldn't help thinking that he definitely knew this girl. Either way, he decided

"Kairi!"
No!
Whatever composure Namine had managed to have before dropped away suddenly as her jaw dropped into a 'o' of surprise. Kairi. Kairi. Kairi. It felt-- it felt like a punch in the stomach. It wasn't because it was Sora that said it (even if that made it worse), it was that, for the first time in months... she'd been mistaken for Kairi. She'd spent all this time almost-half-maybe forgetting what she was. She'd spent all this time free, except for the nightmares and the thoughts of the world she came from, of being reminded that she was nothing. Here, even with all the fear and the monsters and the constant threat of expiration, she could pretend she was real. Maybe she'd gained something from her temporary merge with Kairi, maybe she'd managed to scrape together some meagre beginnings of a heart, but this -- in that moment, a sudden, bitter thought slithered into her mind, and that was, 'The only reason I have feelings is so people can keep reminding me that I don't. It slipped away with a forceful shove
