Characters: Rayne, Namine, Zetsu, Mewtwo, Mio Setting: Greenhouse Time: Day 004, Early Morning Summary: Rayne needs food, and Namine helps her find it. Warnings: Rayne is hungry, and Namine is cute.
Needless to say, Namine had been immensely relieved when Rayne showed up again, both for logical and emotional reasons. She'd gone hungry most of the time, rarely leaving the room in the time without her mother guardian, and it was quite a comfort to have her back. But she'd also been very worried -- able to take care of herself or not, Rayne was still a (more or less) living being, and therefore could very well cease to be living at any time. It seemed silly that someone as weak as herself would worry about someone so much stronger, but worry she did. Namine had been all too happy to help Rayne find herself something to eat

Keeping an ear turned towards the young girl, Rayne mentally made a sort of to do list for today. Get Namine fed, first and foremost, then work on her own appetite. Afterward, if the girl was up to it, perhaps train her a bit more with the throwing knives. There was no use in only using a skill when you were just learning when you were in danger. Practicing in a calmer environment would be good for her. In another train of thought, the redhead was considering somehow measuring the girl to make her more clothes. What she had was fine, but it wasn't good for this place. It may have been easy to move in, but it didn't offer much protection, and since it was getting colder, she would need something else. She needed something else anyway. Only one set of clothes to wear for over two months now was rather... horrifying

Mewtwo had been sleeping--such as it was--in the upper echelons of the Greenhouse when he first heard Mio's voice--his angular eyes opened slightly as she passed underneath him, calling Zetsu's name. He tracked her wordlessly until she vanished into the hallway, then closed his eyes again, drifting back into semi-consciousness as he rested the hemispheres of his brain in alternation.
He didn't wake again until Rayne and Naminé entered the glass structure, but ignored the humans entirely until the fall of the fertiliser bags. His purple eyes snapped open and he picked them out instantly. Two, as he'd heard through the semi-sleep--he unfolded, angular eyes glowing blue, deep telepathic voice echoing as he projected so that they and anyone else he could not feel would hear him. Mewtwo feared neither of them, but he was still naturally suspicious.
"I'm a pretty good seamstress, so... I make most of my own clothes. I took my dress and made it into this." Rayne told her, motioning to her 'new' corset and pants under the cloak as she stood, setting aside the flower pot. "As long as we can find the right type of material, and you tell me what kind of clothes you want, then-"
Cutting herself off as the voice rang through her head, Rayne bristled as the hair on the back of her neck stood up. Swirling around and positioning herself in front of Namine, the dhampir glanced around for a moment as her eyes bled into red, her sight changing into nothing but shadows and the bright lights of auras. Wrapping the excess fabric of the cloak sleeve around her hand, she raised her arm to shield her face from the sunlight as she looked up, eyes settling on the blue aura towards the ceiling.
