Time: Day 18
Summary: Ciel versus Break in a chess match. If Ciel wins, Break is his bodyguard for three days, if Break wins, Ciel is his servant for three days.

Break was pleased with the situation. He'd finally cornered Ciel, and instead of bickering and denying that they'd ever met and summoning strangely-clad ill-tempered women, they'd managed to come to an agreement. A rematch, and either way Break got what he wanted. If he won then he would get a renewal of the contract he had made with the boy he used to know. If he lost, he would protect Ciel for three days, which would give him a second chance and allow him to absolve him of guilt, and then they could go their separate ways and be done with it. Besides, their first match had been interesting. He wouldn't dream of turning down a challenge from such a skilled opponent.

"I'll take white," he said, pulling a blanket from his bunk and settling down on the floor across from Ciel. He didn't plan on falling asleep during the game, as much as he might like to, but it couldn't hurt to make himself comfortable. "The black suits your gloomy demeanour better."

He rotated the board accordingly and sat Emily down on the sidelines between them.

"As a referee," he explained. "Now, are we ready to begin?"
