Setting: Shelter Bedroom
Time: Day 18
Summary: Ciel versus Break in a chess match. If Ciel wins, Break is his bodyguard for three days, if Break wins, Ciel is his servant for three days.
Warnings: Despite the subject, none.
Ciel, for once, was not being dragged about by Break, but instead all but leading the way to the Shelter bedroom, carrying a chessboard and pieces in his arms. He hastily opened the door to the room and, finding no table there, set the board on the floor and began to set up the pieces quickly but calmly.
While he had been in a rush to get to the room for the match, now that they arrived, a sense of calm and certainty came over Ciel. This was his game, and there was no way anyone would beat him at it. There was a good reason he was known as a games master- from chess to the most obscure foreign games, and anything in between, once he knew the rules, there would be no way he would lose, no matter how tired he felt.
With the pieces set up, Ciel calmly sat back and smiled at Break. "White or black?"
